kali ini gw bakalan bagi-bagin daftar makanan indonesia yang di sukai oleh orang bule alias foreign mulai dari yang terupdate sampai jadul.. selamat menikmati yah...:D


Makanan Indonesia yang disukai Bule

Biarpun banyak makanan-makanan luar negeri yang populer di Indonesia, ternyata makanan Indonesia pun nggak kalah populer di luar negeri. Banyak orang luar negeri yang lagi berkunjung kesini menyukai makanan buatan orang lokal yang tentunya nggak ada di negeri mereka. Mungkin dari segi bumbu atau tampilan kita sederhana, tapi dari segi rasa, ada yang nggak bisa dibohongi kan? Hehe

Nasi goreng



Udah hampir setiap bule yang dateng kesini kebanyakan pada bilang makanan favorit mereka disini adalah nasi goreng. Kebetulan dari dulu saya banyak baca berita seleb-seleb yang lagi dateng kesini kalau diwawancara tentang apa yang dimakannya disini adalah nasi goreng. Mungkin karena di negara asalnya (apalagi kalau di Negara-negara barat) nggak pernah nemu nasi ya, makanya begitu disini begitu tergila-gilanya mereka. Hehehe

2. Darah ular cobra



Pernah suatu ketika grup band asal AS, Saosin datang kesini dan apa yang dicobanya?? Yak, mereka begitu penasarannya sama yang namanya darah ular cobra. Memang sih, jenis kuliner ini sulit ditemui di warung-warung makanan karena termasuk jenis kuliner ekstrem. Darah ular cobra ini tapi memiliki khasiat-khasiat tertentu seperti menambah gairah dan stamina dan sumsumnya bisa buat obat sakit pinggang dan pegal-pegal juga lho.

3. Snack jagung



Kemaren saya baru liat di fanpage ini, ada bule Indo yang bawa-bawa snack jagung bakar Momogi ke Negara asalnya Belanda. Bukti bahwa makanan buatan dalam negeri pun bisa disukai dan dibanggakan sama orang luar negeri.

4. Rendang



Menurut akun twitter @GNFI, rendang menempati peringkat pertama makanan terenak di dunia menurut CNNGo. Wow, bukti bahwa makanan tradisional dari tanah Minangkabau yang terbuat dari daging dan santan kelapa ini mendapat tempat di lidah internasional.

Favorite foods: A popular Indonesian dish is satay (pronounced sah-tay) served with peanut sauce, ketupat (pronounced ke-too-paht), cucumber and onions.

Other popular foods are soto ayam, tahu telor, otak otak, nasi goreng, gado gado and kerupuk.

Pork is hardly eaten because most Indonesians are Muslims; their religion prohibits eating pork.

Regional favorites: Food varies from island to island ... chicken and fish in Java; beef in Sumatra; duck and pork in Bali (where most of the Hindus live); and seafood in South Sulawesi.
Padang food from West Sumatra is hot and spicy. A favorite is beef rendang. The typical nasi padang meal consists of many small dishes that are brought in by waiters who can carry up to eight plates on each arm. When the table is set, a plate of hot white rice is served. You choose from this selection of dishes and would not be charged for the dishes that were not touched. You only pay for the dishes that you have eaten.

Famous Balinese dishes include bebek betutu and babi guling.
Desserts often consist of tropical fruits such as starfruit, mangga (mango), manggis (mangosteen), rambutan, durian and nangka (jackfruit). Indonesian desserts are often made from glutinous rice flour, palm sugar and coconut milk. Some favourites are kueh lapis, bubur hitam and es campur.
